Tourism Center / Comprehensive Report
The Taipei Metro Xinyi Line officially began operations on November 24. In tandem, the Taipei City Government’s Department of Information and Tourism simultaneously launched a brand-new tourist service center with an aesthetically designed and tactile appeal at Exit 5 of the “Taipei 101 / World Trade Center Station” on the Xinyi Line. The center offers professional and comprehensive tourism consultation services to both domestic and international travelers.

The Department of Information and Tourism stated that the Xinyi District is home to the largest concentration of international luxury department stores in Taiwan. The “Taipei 101 / World Trade Center Station” on the Xinyi Metro Line is also close to the Taipei World Trade Center and Taipei 101, making it one of the top travel destinations for visitors to Taiwan as well as a key venue for major conventions and exhibitions. Therefore, a tourist service center has been set up at Exit 5 of the “Taipei 101 / World Trade Center Station” on the Xinyi Line to serve tourists and business travelers visiting Taipei.
The Department of Information and Tourism pointed out that this station’s service center is the 13th tourist service center in Taipei City. The space design was planned in collaboration with Shih Chien University, built around the design concepts of “friendliness,” “sharing,” “exploring Taipei,” and “exceeding expectations.” It aims to allow visitors to experience the character of Taipei and serves as a platform showcasing Taipei’s design prowess.
