Discovering Nameless Black Iron Coffee was a pleasant surprise. One day, while driving along Heping West Road and waiting at a red light, I happened to glance across the median strip and noticed an old bicycle leaning out of a second-floor windowsill. I thought, "That must be so inconvenient—having to haul the bike in and out of the window every time you want to ride it." Just as the light turned green, I spotted a sign that read “Black Iron Coffee!”

Using a one-kilogram direct-fire Fuji Royal roaster, Nameless Black Iron Coffee offers a variety of single-origin coffees for customers to choose from. Most are brewed using the siphon method with medium roast profiles, delivering smooth and well-balanced flavors that are highly recommended.

On weekends, you might even spot Owner Qiu giving swordsmanship lessons to his two kids under the building’s arcade. This is also why many people choose to start a second business in midlife—to spend more time with family. It seems that running a home-roasting café is a pretty good choice.

With its distinctive decor, delicious coffee, and friendly owner, Black Iron Coffee is well on its way to becoming a renowned spot. Visitors should stop by soon before it gets too crowded to get a seat.
