French style meets creative elements – The L’Atelier Bazil II Branch exudes a vibrant, youthful vibe

Since the Brasserie Liz on the first floor of Atour Hotel opened its first branch, “Ma Petite Brasserie 我的小餐馆,” at BR4 in SOGO Fuxing, its relaxed dining space combined with elements of classic French country cuisine has been widely loved. This year, Atour Lifestyle Hotel has launched the “L’Atelier Bazil II Branch” on the third floor of ATT4FUN. The difference? In addition to keeping some of Bazil Hall’s classic dishes like confit kung pao duck and Alsatian sauerkraut pork knuckle, the menu here is more youth-oriented.

The highlights include the colorful and lively rainbow vegetable fritters, various European-style burgers in multiple flavors, exotic large sausages, and more. With 12 flavors of choux pastry, a simple classification yields a wide variety of tastes — truly creative.

Compared to others, the L’Atelier Bazil II Branch has a slightly smaller space but still retains some elements of a French bistro style — bright and comfortable. The only downside is that the space is a bit too open, making some seating areas less private. Otherwise, it would be a great spot for dining or afternoon tea.

Targeting a younger clientele, the portion sizes here are larger, and the plating shows clear attention to detail. For drinks, there’s a colorful selection of sparkling cocktails and mixed drinks, clearly aimed at attracting younger crowds. However, the flavors of the dishes show thoughtful design — even the side french fries are undeniably crispy and unique, definitely not your average cheap fast food.


Shrimp and pineapple rainbow vegetable fritters, NT$480. A generously portioned rainbow fritter that resembles pizza but has a crispier crust, offering a mix of crunchiness and soft bread texture. Topped with plenty of ingredients, it’s very satisfying.


L’Atelier Classic Beef Burger, NT$480. The burger patty made with American beef is always unbeatably delicious, topped with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and pan-fried bacon. Biting into it releases juicy flavors, though it’s a slight pity that the sauces lack intensity in flavor.


But it’s still quite satisfying. For those who prefer stronger flavors, adding ketchup or mustard makes it absolutely perfect~


Classic Original Chicken Sausage, NT$480. It’s rare to find this type of sausage sold this way, but it looks really good. The chicken sausage isn’t dry at all — it’s juicy and flavorful. Served with homemade pickles, stir-fried sweet peppers, and BBQ sauce, it’s even more delicious.


The fries served with the main dishes come in a cute little basket. These fries are super crispy and tasty, and the dip is especially unique — homemade tomato sauce that makes you want to keep eating bite after bite~

Indian Curry Sausage, NT$480. The curry-flavored sausage is really spicy, so the accompanying sauce is switched to mint yogurt sauce to balance the flavors~


Golden Crispy Fries, NT$180. Since the fries are so popular, there’s a single-serving option. The container is super cute~


Classic Premium Caesar Salad, NT$280. Fresh lettuce with bacon bits, croutons, and perfectly balanced Caesar dressing — a classic salad that never gets old no matter how many times you eat it.


French-style Onion Soup, NT$280. Atour’s onion soup is always a classic. Caramelized onions, rich and flavorful broth, and generous slices of French bread and cheese baked together — the aroma and taste are both excellent~


Blackcurrant Soda, NT$160 per glass (NT$480 per pot). Blackcurrant puree mixed with soda — just stir before drinking for a blackcurrant-flavored soda. It’s quite unique and pairs well with burgers and fries. Other flavors include lychee, dragon fruit, and citrus.

Yuzu Sparkling Fruit Drink, NT$120. A cocktail with grapefruit aroma. Mi’er doesn’t drink, so she didn’t try it, but friends who did said it tasted pretty good.


Bistro Choux Pastry, NT$480. This is one of Atour’s most popular freshly made desserts, now featuring 12 different sauces such as special brown sugar sea salt, almond liqueur, black sesame, matcha, orange honey, hazelnut praline, and more.

There are so many I want to try, but Mi’er was in a rush that day. She took photos and left. Guess I’ll have to wait for another chance to try them out. What she got that day was the mixed berry sauce, which is apparently very popular among girls. Ugh~ So regretful I didn’t get to try it~
