Travel Center / Comprehensive Report
Japan’s low-cost carrier “Peach Aviation” announced yesterday (the 3rd) that former AKB48 Team A member {Mariko Shinoda}, who was appointed as the airline’s endorser in September this year, will once again board a Peach flight on February 19. She will take the MM157 flight departing from Osaka Kansai Airport to Fukuoka Airport at 4:30 PM, spending an hour and a half in the air with passengers.
As the image ambassador for Peach Aviation, {Mariko Shinoda} boarded a flight for the first time on October 27 this year on the “Osaka–Tokyo” route. She not only greeted passengers at the boarding gate, but also took on the challenge of delivering a simple welcome speech to passengers onboard in her role as the endorser. This aircraft was also named the “MARIKO JET” after her, featuring a special print of her portrait on the fuselage, making it Peach Aviation’s first livery plane. The “MARIKO JET” is scheduled to remain in service until the end of March 2014.

Peach Aviation stated that on this flight to Fukuoka, {Mariko Shinoda} will once again greet passengers at the boarding gate. Onboard, she will also introduce limited-edition merchandise set to go on sale in late February, which has been co-developed by Peach Aviation and Mariko Shinoda. These items are already available for pre-sale on the official website.
{Mariko Shinoda} will be onboard the MM157 flight for about an hour, and currently, all Happy Peach class seats are sold out. Only a limited number of Happy Peach Plus class seats remain available, so get them while they last.
