The Christmas Tree Lighting in Tainan’s Historic City Illuminates the End of 2013

The much-loved Tainan Historic City Christmas light displays are back this year, with the main attraction—a towering Christmas tree—erected in front of the National Museum of Taiwan Literature. On the evening of December 1st, under the supervision of Tainan Mayor Lai Ching-te, the tree was illuminated along with the Christmas lights along Tainan Railway Station, Tang De-chang Memorial Park, Zhongshan Road, and other key areas. This event marked both the finale of 2013 and a bright start to Tainan’s festive evenings.

OverallThe Christmas light display will be on view from 7:00 PM on December 1st until February 14th, 2014.In addition to the locations mentioned above, beautiful lights can also be enjoyed at various district government offices and major attractions throughout Tainan City.
