Pigs on the Beach in the Bahamas: Swimming with Bikini Babes

You may have heard of swimming with dolphins, tropical fish, or sharks, but have you ever heard of swimming with “wild boars”? Located in Big Major Cay (also known as Pig Island or Pig Beach) in the Exuma district of the Bahamas, around 20 carefree wild pigs have made the island their kingdom. They usually roam the island or the beach, and occasionally take a dip with tourists, living quite the carefree life.

These wild pigs are not actually native to the area. It is said that sailors once lived here and raised a group of pigs for meat. However, the sailors never returned after setting sail, and the pigs stayed, settling on the island and reproducing through the generations.
