Shining bright: Hsinchu’s gradient “Golden Christmas Tree” lights up

The whole of Taiwan is going crazy for Christmas light displays, and Hsinchu is no exception. What sets Hsinchu County Government’s “Golden Christmas Tree” apart from others is that it is made up of densely arranged golden-yellow bulbs in a gradient formation. From afar, it looks like a “golden tree,” dazzling and resplendent with sparkling lights, attracting many visitors to soak in the festive Christmas atmosphere.

The “Hsinchu County Christmas Light Display” event is jointly organized by the county government and the Roman Catholic Diocese of Hsinchu. Starting now, in addition to admiring the glittering Golden Christmas Tree in the plaza at night, the surrounding sidewalks and roadside trees have also been elaborately decorated, creating a brightly lit space filled with a strong Christmas vibe.
