Nantou Flower Carnival: Three “Flower Goddesses” to Accompany the Public in Flower Appreciation

Nantou County will hold a Flower Carnival from the 29th to February 2, 2014, at the Chidi Top Farm and the Flower Logistics Center in Puli, featuring a special “Flower Goddess Outdoor Photo Group” event. The event is divided into three major themes: “Colorful Flowers,” “Plum Blossom Good Days,” and “Cherry Blossoms in Full Bloom.” The Flower Goddesses not only serve as outdoor photo models but also act as event ambassadors, leading the public to visit various scenic spots.

The “Flower Goddess Outdoor Photo Group” features three themes, each with three sessions, with only 20 spots available per session. The sessions will depart on January 4, 11, and 18, 2014. Online registration is now open, but participants are required to pay an 800 NT$ fee and provide five photos taken during the event to the organizers.

In addition to events like the “Flower Goddess Outdoor Photo Group” that require a registration fee, visiting the two main flower zones is completely free. This carnival showcases flower gardens spanning 20 hectares, including cosmos, sunflowers, cosmos sulphureus, and zinnias, and has been specially designed into multiple themed exhibition areas such as the Colorful Flower Sea, Circular Flower Zone, and Colorful Flower Cone Zone.
