This year’s Spring Festival holiday lasts only six days, and with schools resuming early, domestic travel has become the best choice for many families. The Tourism Bureau under the Ministry of Transportation and Communications has united 21 theme parks across Taiwan to jointly roll out......special offers during the Spring Festival period (January 31 – February 4), where individuals born in the Year of the Horse can enter theme parks at half price (limited to 20 people per day).Additionally, they’ve launched the “Half-Price Index” online challenge event, giving participants the opportunity to win limited half-price discount coupons for 50% off entry at specified theme parks, as well as chances to join lucky draws with prizes up to a 60T LCD TV.

Xie Weijun, Director-General of the Tourism Bureau, stated that Taiwan’s theme parks each offer unique features, encompassing elements such as flower viewing, fairy tales, animals, and performance activities. Coupled with strong safety measures, they are ideal for family outings.
Lee Chih-tien, Chairman of the Taiwan Amusement Parks Association, also mentioned that Taiwan’s theme parks are well-equipped with localized designs and offer more cost-effective ticket prices compared to overseas travel, welcoming the public to come and experience them.
