Yilan American-style Burger Joint with Huge Flower Wall & Kids Play Area!

As the name suggests, J.J Burgers serves burgers. Located on Zhuyi Road in Luodong, the moment you step in, you're greeted with a strong American vibe. There's a huge flower wall ideal for photos, and for parents with kids, the playroom is nothing short of paradise!

Haha~ Adults can chat leisurely while the kids play happily—it’s truly wonderful!! Of course, these are just added perks. The food is the star, and that day we tried their Mexican beef burger (rare in Yilan) and a friend had the chicken burger—both unforgettable. The portions are generous, and the owner even offers free refills on fries if you run out. Super generous!!

The location is unique, right at a corner spot!! So this space is perfect for those seeking a quieter atmosphere (if you’re worried about the kid noise inside).

The entrance has a charming Americana countryside feel, doesn’t it?

When we visited, the shop was decorated with plenty of Halloween ornaments. Halloween is a quintessentially American holiday, and the decorations were both thoughtful and festive!! The place had a joyful vibe—a perfect spot to relax and chat.

I heard these wooden tables and chairs were handcrafted by the owner—simple yet with a touch of Wild West ruggedness!

Haha, this is also a popular decor style in American diners. The vintage-style license plates really add a nice finishing touch.

Though it’s a small kids’ area, it’s absolutely fantastic for families like ours. This time, my friend and I could chat freely while the kids played on their own!! Barely any interruptions—brilliant.

The dreamy floral wall nearby—yeah, many places use it, but it’s undeniably photogenic.

This place is open from breakfast through dinner, with long hours. They serve brunch, afternoon tea, and regular meals!!

Let’s start with a fried combo platter—perfect for chatting. Fries, nuggets, corn cakes!! Flavor-wise, it’s fried food!! Haha!! So addictive.

This is the signature spicy chicken burger. The portion is super generous!! Haha, the lettuce steals the show a bit!! Seems a bit too thick!!

This is my friend’s special spicy burger—they said it was super JUICY and delicious!! Way beyond their expectations!!

Kids’ Meal!!

Haha, next time we’ll try these mini burgers!! Though small, they taste almost the same as the adult ones—just smaller. Same price, but you get three flavors!

But these are for the kids!! No samples for us—tried to sneak one but wasn’t fast enough.

Hehe, here’s our Mexican beef burger. This flavor is rare in Yilan. It has bacon, jalapeños, red bell peppers, ranch, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, mayo, and hot sauce!! Looks super loaded. A good burger needs great ingredients, but the sauce is the soul of the flavor!! All the sauces here are homemade.

Oh, and the crispy fries are addictive too. Chatting while munching, you just can’t stop!!

As expected, one bite brings a burst of flavors in your mouth—absolutely delicious. And the portions are huge—you can’t even take a full bite in one go!!

This is the spicy chicken burger.

Bacon, jalapeños, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, mayo, hot sauce. Of course, the star is the chicken!! But the meat is tender and super juicy.

This is the signature chicken burger!! With bacon, cheese, ranch, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, mayo, and special tomato sauce!!

Haha, should’ve brought a phone for size comparison!! Can’t even take a full bite in one go!

Hehe, this chicken piece is seriously impressive—even as a standalone chicken cutlet, it’d probably sell well.

JJ boneless short rib steak!! This one is also pretty good, but compared to the burger, the burger performs a bit better!!

All in all, this JJ Burger is quite memorable, and the overall experience was pretty nice!! I’ll come back next time to try some other flavors.
