The Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 carrying 239 people remains missing to this day. Not only are the families desperate with worry, but people around the world are also closely following the latest updates, hoping for a miracle. Speaking earlier today (10th) at a media briefing in Taiwan, Huang Yen-yen, Chairperson of the Malaysian Tourism and Culture Board (Datuk Seri), said: "We are deeply saddened and regretful. So far, the authorities have yet to find a definitive answer, but Malaysia Airlines' flight safety record over the years has been there for all to see."

It is understood that the Chairperson’s press conference in Taiwan had been scheduled well in advance, but unexpectedly, the MH370 incident occurred. The originally planned evening event with travel industry representatives was changed to a casual dinner gathering.Huang Yen-yen said: "Before I came to Taiwan, there were many voices in Malaysia suggesting that I should not visit Taiwan at this sensitive time. But I believe that at this crucial moment, it is even more important for me to come to Taiwan, and I should not face this with an attitude of avoidance."Huang Yen-yen also stated that over the 50 years since its establishment, Malaysia Airlines has rarely experienced flight safety incidents, and its level of aviation safety is evident to passengers. She also believes that travelers have clear judgment, while the Malaysian authorities are currently unable to provide definitive information to the public because the country is still doing everything possible to find answers regarding this incident.
