KANO Movie Scene Recreation Exhibition: Relive the film’s touching moments through hundreds of costumes, flags, and props

The popularity of the Taiwanese film "KANO" continues to rise. For those who still can’t get enough after watching the movie, now there's a chance to step back in time. The "KANO Movie Scene Recreation Exhibition" opened on the 9th at the Dayeh Takashimaya Neihu branch in Taipei, allowing the public to get up close with some of the scenes and props, bringing back the emotions felt while watching the film.

Dayeh Takashimaya Neihu has set up a 150-ping exhibition space, divided intoKagi-Nō (Kano Baseball Team),Taiwan Qualifiers, andKoshien Stadiumareas. Each section features stills from the film and classic lines, helping viewers not only immerse themselves in the setting but also recall the feelings they had while watching the movie.

The exhibition space is filled with a retro atmosphere, immersing visitors in the Japanese-style ambiance of the 1930s depicted in the film. Chen Jian-Hua, manager of Dayeh Takashimaya Neihu, said, "Director Wei Te-Sheng was also deeply moved when he visited the exhibition." The venue also displays hundreds of props from the movie, such as the players' uniforms and pants, the black soil of Koshien Stadium, the team flags, and the bicycle often ridden by the character Wu Ming-Jie — all memorable details that enhance the authenticity and depth of the exhibition. An experience area is also set up at the exit, offering a variety of costumes for visitors to wear and take pictures in.

The "KANO Movie Scene Recreation Exhibition" runs from March 9th and is tentatively scheduled to end at the end of July. Visitors can purchase tickets to enter daily from 9:30 AM to 11:00 PM.Those bringing a ticket to the "KANO" movie can also enjoy a free 20-pitch batting experience.Xu Yao-Mao, deputy marketing manager of Dayeh, said the hope is that this exhibition will reignite the public’s passion for Taiwan’s national sport.
