"You can only see it when cycling at 20 km/h!" Bike guides take travelers on a tour to discover the beauty of Penghu

A low-carbon bike tourism trend has recently emerged both domestically and internationally. The Penghu National Scenic Area Administration, in collaboration with the Bicycle Association, has once again launched the "Bike Guide Tour Interpretation Service" starting April 1. This service takes travelers on a green biking adventure, allowing them to enjoy a slow-paced 20 km/h journey through the beauty of Penghu.

Cycling around Taiwan’s main island can be quite challenging, but biking around Penghu can be completed in about two days. Moreover, travelers can enjoy the company of professional guide interpreters. As you pedal along, you’ll be treated to views of the blue sea and sky, and feel the comfort of a gentle breeze on your face. The Penghu Administration stated that from April 1 to October 31, visitors are welcome to explore Penghu by bicycle. Groups of five or more can apply through the website reservation system or contact the Penghu Visitor Center to arrange for free, professional bike guide interpreters. These guides will lead travelers on a slow-paced, leisurely journey to deeply experience the charm of Penghu’s villages, coastal areas, and rural landscapes.
