The site aims to build an information exchange and community platform for travelers to Taiwan. You Shiyi, CEO of NetKing Technology, said that the “Come to Taiwan” website hopes to showcase the beauty of Taiwan to more mainland visitors from a Taiwanese perspective. Through the website platform and mobile app, it combines elements including destinations, travel blogs, Q&A, travel guides, and a community activity center to meet travelers’ various needs before, during, and after their journeys. The online Q&A and interactive discussion model is also a rare feature in the industry.
Since the opening of free independent travel for mainland residents, rapid growth in independent travel has been driven by favorable policies and changing travel trends. In 2013, the number of independent travelers increased by 174% compared to 190,000 in 2012, reaching 522,000 — making it an emerging form of tourism.

Professional taxi guide Zhang Wenzheng and wedding service consultant Yi Weiling have also shared their travel experiences and expertise through the site.
