Jeju is the largest island in South Korea, known for its mild climate year-round and nicknamed the “Hawaii of Korea.” It has also developed a slow travel market through its unique walking tourism concept, “Jeju Olle.”

Gao Zhihua, spokesperson and vice president of TransAsia Airways, said that “Olle” (올레) is a Jeju dialect term referring to small alleys or lanes that lead from one’s doorstep to the main street. Jeju is currently in full bloom with cherry blossoms and canola flowers, and visitors can enjoy the island’s mountain and sea scenery through its 26 different walking routes.

TransAsia Airways also announced various promotions for flights between Taoyuan and Jeju starting now. Round-trip tickets start from NT$6,800 per person (excluding tax, economy class, early-bird special price), while package deals including flights and hotels for independent travelers start from NT$9,900 (including tax, three nights and four days, price per person for groups of two or more), and group tours from NT$10,999 (including tax).
