The Cross-Strait Rural Leisure Tourism Carnival Kicks Off – Delicious Food and Fun Activities Promote Tourism Exchange

The "Cross-Strait Rural Leisure Tourism Carnival," jointly organized by the Fujian Provincial Tourism Association, the Taiwan Rural Tourism Association, the Taiwan Leisure Agriculture Development Association, and the Taiwan Tourism Quality Assurance Association, took place on April 1 at the Flying Cow Ranch in Miaoli. The event not only featured the signing of cooperation agreements between tourism operators from both sides but also included exhibition booths for cross-strait leisure agriculture products to facilitate mutual exchange.

In addition to multiple booths showcasing local leisure agriculture products from Taiwan, several leisure agriculture operators from Fujian Province also participated in Taiwan, offering the public deeper insights into Fujian’s tourism features. Both sides also presented indigenous dances, traditional Hui’an dances, and romantic tea-picking dances, much to the delight of attendees.

Furthermore, Taiwanese operators and mainland businesses in the homestay and sightseeing farm industries also signed cooperation agreements at the carnival, deepening bilateral exchanges and collaboration. It is hoped that such interactions will help attract greater numbers of tourists and generate more tourism benefits for both regions.
