Can you experience fruit farming life while staying at a hotel? From April 1 to September 30, 2014, Tainan’s Grand Formosa Regent launched the “Happy Siraya Fruit Picking Joy Accommodation Package.” Guests can stay in an Elegant Double Room for NT$7,599 on weekdays and NT$8,999 on weekends, or opt for a Deluxe Family Quadruple Room for NT$12,999 on weekdays and NT$14,999 on weekends. The above prices include a one-day itinerary: the hotel, Jiangnan Resort, Xuan Kong Temple, Lu Tao Yang Jiang Family Ancestral House, and seasonal fruit picking in orchards (with surrounding scenic spots arranged depending on the location of the fruit orchard), with the whole experience lasting approximately 9 hours. All bookings come with a lavish buffet breakfast, complimentary mineral water, welcome snacks, a NT$500 voucher for Being Spa per person, and free access to the hotel’s facilities including wireless broadband internet, a garden-style gym, sauna, indoor heated swimming pool, and vitality hydrotherapy massage pool.
