Unlike the solo spotlight of cherry blossoms in February and March, April marks the beginning of a vibrant season where a multitude of flowers bloom in competition. As one of the best spots to enjoy the scenery of all four seasons, Wuling Farm, nearing the end of its cherry blossom season, now sees clusters of wisteria flowers cascading like purple waterfalls and the azalea-like Ma’yinghua flowers—resembling cherry blossoms in appearance—stepping up to steal the show with their stunning display.

The wisteria blossoms hang abundantly over flower trellises, their cascading blooms stretching from branches. Though they arrived a bit later this year, these fragrant purple flowers are now gradually drawing the attention of visitors. Whether nestled among the green leaves or standing proudly as solitary blossoms, they have quickly become the main attraction. Their sweet fragrance attracts many people who pause beneath the flower-laden trellises, not only to admire the flowers but also to breathe in the refreshing scents carried by the breeze. Although the peak season for wisteria may be brief, those who visit during this time will also have the chance to encounter other blooming flowers nearby. This heralds the arrival of the next wave of floral beauty.

Another flower currently in full bloom at Wuling Farm is the Ma’yinghua, which many people may not be very familiar with. However, it is actually a type of azalea. Because it blooms around the time of the Qingming Festival, it is also known as the “Qingming Flower.” Right now, it is quietly blossoming along the lush green mountain cliffs of Wuling Farm.
