The Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago is currently hosting "Treasures of the Walt Disney Archives,"—Disney Treasure Exhibition—celebrating decades of the company’s unwavering imagination, innovation, and heartfelt commitment to entertaining audiences. The exhibition showcases many never-before-seen handcrafted artifacts, including an array of Disney character figures, handmade crafts, precious archives, props, and more.

The exhibition "Treasures of the Walt Disney Archives" has been extended for an additional three months for Disney fans, now closing on August 3rd.

Over its ninety-plus years of history, Disney has amassed a collection of more than 300 handcrafted artifacts, primarily from classic Disney animations, live-action films, as well as costumes, props, and artworks from Disney theme parks and TV shows. This exhibition will give you a deeper insight into the lesser-known side of Disney, and rekindle unforgettable classic experiences and entertainment that Disney has brought to people around the world.

In the exhibition, you can also step into a simulated office of Walt Disney and his animation team, where you can create the magic of cinema with your own hands. Try sound effect recording, explore Disney’s bold multiplane camera invention, or learn how to draw your favorite Disney characters.

"Treasures of the Walt Disney Archives" is filled with nostalgic memories of beloved Disney—from Mickey Mouse to Captain Jack Sparrow, and the actors who brought these characters vividly to life. Don’t miss out on these delightful treasures that evoke cherished childhood memories for Disney fans.
