The "Hot Air Balloon Carnival" event organized by the Taoyuan City Government Tourism Bureau officially kicked off on the evening of the 23rd at 7 PM at Shimen Reservoir, featuring a four-day series of nighttime light and fire shows with different themes. The public is welcome to visit the Shimen Reservoir Hot Air Balloon Carnival to experience the unique charm of hot air balloons.

The Tourism Bureau noted that this year’s nighttime hot air balloon light and fire shows will run daily from 7 PM, starting June 23 through June 26. This year, the number of display balloons has been specially increased to six, with different theme-based music combined with nighttime hot air balloon fire performances.

Over the four days, different themed nights will be presented, including Star Wars Night, Classic Music Night, Rock Music Night, and Pop Music Night. On June 23, the Darth Vader and Yoda-shaped hot air balloons will make their first nighttime light show appearance together, illuminating the night at Shimen Reservoir and allowing everyone to enjoy a different beauty of hot air balloons beyond daylight.
