Kaohsiung Shin Kong Ferry Terminal extends discount offer – June: Buy One Get One Free for Two Travelers

Since replacing the Gushan Ferry route in May, the Shin Kong Ferry Terminal has received high praise from visitors. The Kaohsiung Harbor Shipping Company has decided to extend the promotion. In addition to maintaining the discounted one-way fare of NT$100, starting in June, they are launching a “Buy One Get One Free for Two Travelers” offer, inviting the public to take a ferry ride and enjoy a tour of the Kaohsiung Harbor.

With the completion of the Kaohsiung Exhibition Center, the Shin Kong Ferry Terminal has recently become a new highlight along the city’s waterfront. Looking back from the ferry, you’ll see the towering 85 Sky Tower, the wavy, streamlined architecture of the Kaohsiung Exhibition Center, and the imposing China Steel Corporation Building, which resembles a structure draped in an iron mesh — all lined up along the terminal’s waterfront, creating a unique scenic view.

Every evening, the Shin Kong Ferry Terminal also attracts a large number of photography enthusiasts who set up their tripods at various spots to capture the harbor’s stunning dusk scenes. Many people also come to stroll or cycle on the nearby green spaces. Both on land and water, it has become a popular new leisure destination for locals and tourists alike.

Starting now, the “Buy One Get One Free for Two Travelers” promotion allows each person to enjoy the Kaohsiung Harbor cruise for an average of just NT$50. There are also guides on board to provide commentary. Visitors can take the ferry from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekends and holidays at the Shin Kong Ferry Terminal.
