The “United Adventure Bear program” launched by United Airlines is a charitable initiative aimed at children in need around the world. Recently, the airline unveiled its seventh limited-edition teddy bear — the “Flying Bear” — hoping to rally the compassion of travelers and bring warmth to children in need of medical and financial support.
United Airlines stated that when passengers donate 20 US dollars (approximately 600 New Taiwan Dollars), the airline will send a Flying Bear to a child in need; a donation of 40 US dollars (approximately 1200 New Taiwan Dollars) means both the donor and the child will each receive a Flying Bear. The proceeds from the campaign and donations from passengers will be contributed to the Happy Hearts Fund, enabling the foundation to improve children's educational environments and rebuild their lives.
