Nestled in the mountains, this three-story concrete traditional house features long red-brick arched walls that add a rich touch of retro beauty. Surrounded by dense foliage, it brings a cool respite in the peak summer heat. An open 360-degree panoramic terrace offers sweeping views, making“Qīng Lìfāng”feel like a new hidden haven in the Xin’tian District.

▲With its majestic setting and striking red-bricked gate, it becomes the most eye-catching sight in a tranquil green valley. (The largest tranquil space in the district’s scenic area.)

Currently still in soft opening, the “Qīng Lìfāng Leisure Farm” is located on the mountainside of Xin’tian District. As you walk up the sloped road, the first thing that catches your eye is the impressive red-brick gate at the main entrance. On the side lies an equally eye-catching red-brick arched bridge, visually linking the scenery and the building. The mottled red-stone landscape exudes a strong vintage charm, becoming the standout highlight of this place.

▲Compared to nearby restaurants, the restaurant here stands out with its unique vibe. (Visitors are often reluctant to leave.)

The towering main structure of the restaurant was renovated from an old residence, erasing any sense of external sterility. Inside, it feels like a quaint European-style manor with a rustic charm, offering a highly dynamic spatial experience. Guests can also descend the stairs to the lower dining area, as if dining in a cave by the poolside.

▲The viewing platform offers breathtaking distant scenery, and next to it sits a shell-themed photo spot that keeps visitors lingering.
In addition, the operator has set up an outdoor dining area at the observation deck, enclosed by a circular red-brick wall that juts outward, creating an illusion of floating in the air. The shell-decorated photo backdrop looks like a narrow passageway up close but resembles a giant face from afar — a fun feature that has become a popular spot for customers to take commemorative photos.
As for the food, currently the focus is on afternoon tea offerings such as pancakes, desserts, toasted bread, and hot and cold beverages. The menu will be updated in the future to include more diverse dishes. For those who love scenic dining, why not visit before it becomes the next big pilgrimage spot?
