Since Air Canada launched its direct Taipei–Vancouver flights this year, Canada—with its ever-changing charm across the four seasons—has become a new hot travel destination for Taiwanese. Though Canada’s winter is a vast expanse of ice and snow, it also boasts many unique and breathtaking natural wonders that are only visible during this limited winter season. Air Canada has specially introduced winter deals and promotional fares with connections via Vancouver to the U.S., giving travelers the chance to experience the stunning beauty of Canada in the snow.

Chen Meijhi, General Manager of Air Canada Taiwan, said that winter in Canada is truly an icy paradise, such asthe northwest’s Whitehorse, which is perfect for aurora viewing,the century-old outdoor Takhini Hot Springs, which grow more popular with global travelers as the weather gets colder,where mineral-rich waters at around 40 degrees Celsius meet polar climates as low as minus 30 degrees, allowing visitors to soak in the hot springs while admiring the aurora; additionally, at the foot of the Rocky Mountains, there’s also the mysteriously appearing, Forty-degree mineral-rich springs infused with precious trace elements, combined with polar climates that can drop as low as minus thirty degrees, allow travelers to soak in hot springs while admiring the breathtaking aurora borealis. Additionally, at the foot of the Rocky Mountains, there are also mysterious winter-only appearances ofAbraham Lake bubble lake,a magical natural wonder that only emerges in winter.

Air Canada is now offering winter promotional fares starting from NT$18,000 (before tax) for round-trip direct Taipei–Vancouver flights, as well as limited-time deals starting from NT$14,000 (before tax) for round-trip flights from Taipei via Vancouver to major U.S. cities such as Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Jose, San Diego, and Denver. These winter-exclusive discounted fares are valid for travel dates from January 1, 2018, to April 30, 2018.
