Hot air balloons are all the rage! Changhua Fizzlow Hot Air Balloon Carnival adds limited-time morning sessions

With the arrival of the 2014 Central Taiwan Agricultural Expo, the “Fizzlow Hot Air Balloon Carnival” has been added. To let more visitors experience tethered hot air balloon rides, morning sessions will be added daily from now until the 6th, allowing more people to see the beauty of Fizzlow.

The “Fizzlow Hot Air Balloon Carnival” has become the most eye-catching attraction at the Central Taiwan Agricultural Expo. Every evening, it draws crowds of tourists who come to watch the balloons take off, especially on weekends when the place is packed. The daily quota of 200 free ride vouchers is quickly snapped up.

To meet the high demand, the organizers have decided to add morning sessions from 5:30 AM to 7:30 AM from now until July 6th, giving more people the opportunity to take part. Additionally, residents of Changhua—whether currently registered or previously registered—can exchange one free ride voucher by presenting receipts totaling NT$5,000 in consumer spending in Changhua County during May & June or July & August. Furthermore, when two people go together, one of them rides free as a special offer. For visitors from other counties or cities, the same exchange conditions apply to get a group of four with one free ride.

To avoid inconvenience caused by weather-related delays or cancellations of balloon flights, which may result in long waits, the Changhua County Government stated that visitors who have already redeemed their receipts do not need to return them, nor do they need to give back the ride vouchers they’ve received. Ticket holders can choose another day during the event period to ride, but they will still need to queue on-site and wait their turn for a ride.
