Far East Shangri-La Launches First Five-Star Family Restaurant

The first five-star family restaurant in Taiwan has opened its doors. Shangri-La’s Far Eastern International Hotel, Taipei, has specially collaborated with the well-known toy brand “Banana George,”from July 5 to August 17, setting up a “Kids Fun Zone” play area at Far East Café (6F)that offers a range of educational games, fun toys, exciting cartoon films, and a dedicated dessert station for children, ensuring a delightful and worry-free dining experience for families.Lunch starts at NT$740+10%, dinner at NT$790+10%(Children under 100 cm tall dine free of charge, those between 100–130 cm enjoy half-price rates). Shangri-La also provides many “Banana George” toys for young guests to play with, including a 100-piece puzzle competition, brain-boosting building blocks, and DIY Banana George train sets. Far East Café has also set up a special children’s dessert corner during the event, featuring chef-created treats such as almond Danish, cocoa bean cookies, salted chocolate cookies, colorful berry cupcakes, hazelnut popcorn, and DIY cotton candy—irresistible sweets that bring sweet happiness to little ones.
