The Love Gate at Aimen Pass – Penghu Beach Installs Romantic Artworks for Travelers to Snap Photos

As Penghu’s beauty gains recognition as one of the “World’s Most Beautiful Bays,” more and more international travelers are discovering the Orchid Island. In anticipation of Qixi Festival (Chinese Valentine’s Day), the Penghu National Scenic Area Administration has installed landscape art pieces and swings on the famous Aimen Beach, hoping visitors can not only enjoy the beach but also take memorable photos. After snapping their pictures, travelers can even receive souvenirs.

Chang Lung-Cheng, Director of the Penghu National Scenic Area Administration, said that Penghu is filled with a strong romantic atmosphere. Visitors who come to swim can use the new installations to unleash their creativity by taking photos with the “Aimen ‘Love Gate’” landscape art or the “PENGHU” iconic sign, and then share them online by uploading to the “Pleasant Journey to the Orchid Island” Facebook fan page. The goal is to allow more people to see and share the beauty of Penghu.
