According to the 8-1 bulletin of Typhoon No. 10 issued by the Central Weather Bureau, Taiwan Railways has adjusted its train operation plan as Typhoon Matmo is moving faster and making landfall four hours earlier than originally forecast, as follows:

(I)South Link Line (between Kaohsiung and Taitung)::
1. All trains from Taitung to Kaohsiung starting with Taroko Express No. 332 (departing Taitung at 20:35) are suspended. [The Hualien to Kaohsiung Taroko Express No. 332 will only run as far as Taitung.]
2. All trains from Kaohsiung to Taitung starting with No. 373 (departing Kaohsiung at 19:40) are suspended. [The Taichung to Taitung Taroko Express No. 373 will only run as far as Kaohsiung.]

(II)Yilan and North Link Lines::
1. All trains from Taipei to Hualien starting with No. 552 (departing Taipei at 19:16) are suspended. [The Kaohsiung to Hualien Chu-Kuang Express No. 552 will only run as far as Qidu.] [The Taipei to Hualien Taroko Express No. 246 (departing Taipei at 18:40) will only run as far as Yilan.]
2. All trains from Hualien to Taipei starting with No. 247 (departing Hualien at 20:30) are suspended.

(III)Taitung Line::
1. All trains from Hualien to Taitung starting with No. 604 (departing Hualien at 18:28) are suspended.
2. All trains from Taitung to Hualien starting with No. 447 (departing Taitung at 20:25) are suspended.

(IV)Pingxi Line:: All services suspended from 20:00.

(V)Neiwan Line, Liujia Line, Jiji Line, Shalun Line, and local trains:Operation subject to weather conditions.
