The shop mashes Da-Ya taro, mixes it with Kaohsiung Fresh Milk and white sugar to make the taro filling, then sandwiches the egg and cheese in the toast, spreads a layer of peanut butter, and finally drizzles condensed milk for rich layers. The silky egg and cheese melt instantly with the hot toast, making your mouth water just by looking at it.
The sweet taro mash contains bits of taro, releasing continuous aroma as you chew, winning over many dessert lovers, though some say it’s overly sweet. The shop says the “Taro Snow Ice Cheese Egg” is inherently a sweet item, so they reduce the amount of condensed milk and supply it in limited quantities daily based on taro mash availability. In addition, Muxiang’s signature items include steak cheese egg, fresh veggie tender beef cheese egg, kimchi tender beef cheese egg, and bagel series.
