Early bird discount pre-sale period for high-speed rail extended by 3 days    Discounts available for tickets booked up to 5 days in advance

Although high-speed rail is fast and convenient, the fares are not exactly cheap. Many people take advantage of the early bird discounts offered by the railway company. Starting September 1, the pre-sale window for early bird tickets will be adjusted from 8 to 28 days before the travel date (inclusive) to 5 to 28 days before the travel date (inclusive)—that’s an extra 3 days for advance booking, giving travelers more flexibility in planning their trips. Passengers can start pre-booking tickets from midnight on August 5, making it easy to arrange high-speed rail journeys.

In line with the adjustment to the early bird pre-sale period, the high-speed rail company will offer early bird discounted train services every week in September, accounting for over 90% of all scheduled services. Of these, more than 60% of the services will be eligible for a 65% early bird discount, over 85% will qualify for an 80% early bird discount, and more than 90% will be available with a 90% early bird discount. Passengers who book up to 5 days before departure will have the chance to enjoy early bird discounts—the earlier you book, the better your chances.
