SkyTeam launches new “mini” Round the World ticket covering Asia and the Southwest Pacific

Still dreaming of traveling around the world? SkyTeam has introduced a new “Mini Round the World” ticket for Asia and the Southwest Pacific, with flights operated by SkyTeam member airlines serving these regions. The ticket covers destinations across 26 countries, and you can design your own flexible itinerary.

The Asia and Southwest Pacific ticket offered by SkyTeam allows you to choose between economy or business class for 3 to 11 flights. Ticket pricing is based on three mileage bands (13,000, 17,000, and 21,000 miles). Your journey must start and end in the same country, and you must make at least one stopover in either Australia or New Zealand. Unlike other regional travel passes from SkyTeam, the Asia and Southwest Pacific ticket can be purchased individually — there’s no need to buy it together with an intercontinental round-trip or a global ticket. It is also available for trips originating from this region, and can be booked just 3 days before departure.

Whether for business or leisure, travelers can choose up to 11 flights to explore these regions.”

Asia – Bangladesh, Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia, Maldives, Myanmar, Nepal, Philippines, Eastern part of the Russian Federation (east of the Ural Mountains), Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam; Southwest Pacific – Australia, Guam, and New Zealand.
