The most romantic plan this Christmas is to lie in bed and count stars with you—Taichung Chingmei’s Christmas Village is now in its 10th edition. This year themed around “dreams,” it brings oversized beds outdoors, decorates them with moons of all sizes, creating a fantastical cosmic scene that has become one of Taichung’s hottest new photo spots.

The Ching Mei Museum of Art has transformed into a magical “Dream Village.” Step inside and discover six mysterious little rooms waiting to be explored—each with a unique theme, using colors, lighting, and wall designs to express an artist’s mood. The moment you pull back the red curtain, it feels like opening a Christmas gift. Besides admiring, you can even lie in them for photos, gazing at the artistic mirrored ceilings for sweet dreams.

Next, you can’t miss the most popular spot in Dream Village: over 17 beds placed in the plaza. Urban open-air bedding adds a special romantic vibe, while giant moons create a surreal cosmic space that lights up at night, making every shot dreamy. The blue double beds and white single beds are washed and changed every one to two weeks, so you can lounge and daydream freely. Pillows also make adorable props for photos. To capture both daytime and nighttime moods, it’s best to visit in the evening.

Beyond the outdoor exhibits, there’s also a super cool indoor space—the “Dream Interpretation Office.” Ever wake up from a dream and have no clue what it meant? The Dream Interpretation Office has experts who can help unravel the mystery. Visitors fill out a form, stamp it with symbols related to their dreams, then head to the crystal ball area for interpretation. Each dream reading costs 20 NTD and comes with a cute fortune slip. Dream Village is expected to continue until mid-February, so there’s plenty of time to keep dreaming.
