The Malaysia International Gourmet Festival Kicks Off in October – A Global Chef Culinary Showdown

The 2014 Malaysia International Gourmet Festival will grandly launch on October 1st across various cities in Malaysia, where world-renowned chefs will present a borderless feast of culinary delights. Throughout the entire month of October, Malaysia’s top specialty restaurants will each roll out exclusive dishes at special discounted prices to celebrate the festival with food lovers.

Having continuously created 14 editions of borderless gourmet feasts, the festival has invited over 30 chefs from around the globe to deliver the most authentic and extraordinary flavors from different cultures. Since its inception in 2001, the Malaysia International Gourmet Festival has become a benchmark in the local culinary scene, offering new surprises every year for food enthusiasts to explore. This year’s theme, “Red Hot Chefs,” showcases authentic Sri Lankan and Malaysian cuisine, innovative Cantonese and Sichuan dishes, modern Thai, Japanese, Italian, and French fare, all prepared by top chefs from around the world, taking gourmets on a delightful journey through unforgettable tastes.
