You can do puzzles while eating egg cakes too！Located on Haian Road in West Central District, Tainan, “Lubentan” makes hot “Zhiniu Egg Roast.” Unlike the pre-molded egg cakes commonly found on the market, this one requires you to assemble it by hand—only then will the complete cow appear！

The creation of the Zhiniu Egg Roast is not only because Owner Jian has a special fondness for cow shapes, but also to interact with customers. That’s why the cow is divided into four parts. To take a photo of the complete cow-shaped egg cake, just ask the staff for three small toothpicks to secure it up！In addition, the store says the split design “represents that a thing can be viewed from different perspectives.” This crispy and hearty egg cake not only carries a philosophical idea but also adds fun through the concept of puzzles.

Currently still in trial operation, Lubentan only offers the original flavor Zhiniu Egg Roast and Husan Fresh Milk. An original-flavor egg roast comes with a condensed milk dipping sauce to enhance its sweetness. Even though only the original flavor is available now, new flavors will be introduced after the official opening on December 16. Also, the freshly made Zhiniu Egg Roast requires a bit of patience to wait for.

Although it's called Lubentan, it actually has its own dedicated space. On this plot of land, besides the container where the Zhiniu Egg Roast is made and sold, there are simple tables, chairs, and planted decorations in other areas, allowing customers to take nice photos while waiting. In addition, it's a pet-friendly space, perfect for bringing your pets along, and Lubentan even has a resident little boss who is a black French bulldog！But the store says that due to staff shortage, the black French bulldog only appears occasionally on weekends.
