Every summer, the Water Park at the Taipei Water Park is a top water play destination in Taipei. This year, the facilities remain the same as usual, but improvements have been made to rest and shaded areas so that both kids and adults can take a well-deserved break after playing and then continue enjoying the water fun. The fountain plaza now features an additional fountain corridor, providing a cool spot even for the littlest ones.

Lorde Castle
Who knew there was such a hidden water play spot in Taipei? Located in the bustling Guting area, there’s another spot called “Lorde Castle,” which is well-designed with four floors and an outdoor water park. The popular summer water park includes a one-story waterslide, a 4-story cobra slide, a lazy river, a pirate ship slide, a sandy beach, and more. The thrill level of the facilities ranges from 0 to 100—perfect for your summer vacation adventure!

Dajia Riverside Park
Easily accessible by bus, Dajia Riverside Park is a popular summer water play spot. With a wide range of water play facilities—all free and no admission fee—it’s a favorite among budget-conscious families. This year, a newly renovated playground sandbox has turned Dajia Riverside Park into an “urban beach,” where you can play in the sand and splash in the water without going to the seaside.
The water play area features cute and fun water spray installations shaped like giant circles, bamboo dragonflies, and huge flowers. The sandbox includes excavators, sand tables, slides, climbing walls, and more—perfect for keeping kids entertained. Adults can relax at the light meal area under the membrane canopy, sipping coffee and enjoying quality family time.
