Spend your day riding carousels at Fisherman’s Wharf Hip Hop Land to relive the joy of childhood, catch a live rock performance while watching the sunset at Fisherman’s Stage as evening falls, then take a romantic stroll along the illuminated riverbank with your loved one in the evening, enjoying a perfect summer day in Tamsui.

For the first time this year, from July 1 to August 31, the left bank of the Tamsui River in New Taipei City has been decorated with LED lights, transforming the scenic riverside into the “Bali Romantic Light Dots” waterfront. The colorful lights add a romantic ambiance to the otherwise serene and leisurely riverside. As the event coincides with Qixi Festival (Chinese Valentine’s Day), it’s the perfect time for couples to take a romantic stroll along the summer night waterside, enjoying the breeze and experiencing a unique side of Bali.

Fisherman’s Wharf Hip Hop Land

To welcome the summer vacation, Fisherman’s Wharf has launched the “Hip Hop Amusement Park” in front of the fountain plaza during the holiday season. Starting now, every Saturday and Sunday from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM, amusement rides such as carousels, mini trains, disco cars, and hot air balloons will be available. You can enjoy the beautiful Tamsui sunset while experiencing the fun atmosphere of the amusement park.

2017 Tamsui Fisherman’s Stage – Summer Original Music Festival

Combining the beautiful scenery of Tamsui Fisherman’s Wharf with the unique vibe of the fishing harbor, the “Tamsui Fisherman’s Stage” presents a spectacular six-week, 12-show program starting July 8. In addition to performances by top local indie bands, the laid-back and enjoyable live atmosphere adds another highlight to your Tamsui trip. On July 22, the “British Rock Day” kicks off with performances by the new-generation rock band “TRASH,” followed by the mature yet fresh sounds of the band “Suitcase” on July 23, delivering refreshing and soothing lyrical rock with their simple and natural vocals.
