Taichung bus new route 133 launches in October, connecting Dali and Wufeng directly to the high-speed rail

The Taichung City Government’s Transportation Bureau has recently launched a new bus route “133,” which departs from Taichung’s Wuri High-Speed Rail Station, travels along Zhongshan Road and Wenxin South Road, and finally reaches Chaoyang University of Technology. The route officially began service on October 1, linking together the bus networks of Wuri, Dali, and Wufeng.

The Taichung City Transportation Bureau stated that the new Route 133 not only improves transportation access for residents along Meiqun Road and Jinzhou Road in Wufeng District, but also provides the most convenient and fastest way for residents in Dali District to reach Taichung High-Speed Rail Station. Coupled with the 8-kilometer free ride benefit, it will also become the best choice for young people, students, and tourists visiting scenic spots in the future.

Route 133 will start from Taichung High-Speed Rail Station and travel along Xinxing Road, Zhongshan Road, Fuxing Road, Wenxin South Road, Defang Road, Defang South Road, Liyuan Road, Jiadi South Road, Renhua Road, Chenggong Second Road, Chenggong Road, Tucheng Road, Meiqun Road, Jinzhou Road, Jifeng Road, Minsheng Road, and Jifeng East Road to reach Chaoyang University of Technology. In the first three days after launch, the first bus at both the starting and terminal stations will distribute 50 limited-edition iPASS cards to passengers.
