Japan's first official overseas "One Piece Restaurant" is in Taipei!

One Piece fans~ Ready to set sail Up ! Daku has always been a huge One Piece fan, and whenever he has free time, he would catch up on the anime. Later, when he learned that Taipei is home to Japan’s first official overseas “Taiwan One Piece Restaurant,” Daku got super excited. Recently, he finally got the chance to explore it! The “Taiwan One Piece Restaurant” pays meticulous attention to every detail, from the dining environment to the dishes. Fans can not only take photos with life-size figures but also snap pictures with a miniature version of the Thousand Sunny ship! There’s a wide variety of menu choices, plus newly launched upgraded dishes — whether it’s Chopper, Luffy, Nami, or Devil Fruits, this place has it all and is guaranteed to fulfill every One Piece fan’s dream!

Located on the second floor of Songshan Cultural and Creative Park’s South Block, it is just a five-minute walk from the exit of Songshan Airport MRT Station. Although tucked away on the second floor, it still attracts many One Piece fans!

The eye-catching poster downstairs makes people curious and can’t help but quicken their steps upstairs!

This restaurant, known as the “Taiwan One Piece Restaurant,” is actually Japan’s first official overseas themed restaurant. Since its opening at the end of November 2016, it has attracted numerous fans, including those from Spain and France. In just over seven months since opening, it has welcomed more than 70,000 visitors!

We didn’t expect that upon arrival, there was already a long line of fans waiting!

The window display downstairs is so dazzling that it gets you even more excited about the amazing food inside!

The dining area here has a two-hour time limit per group, so it’s recommended to make a reservation in advance to avoid long waits!

As soon as you enter, you can feel the atmosphere similar to that of the Straw Hat crew, which instantly excites fans and makes them feel as if they’ve stepped into the world of One Piece!

There’s also a corner here that looks just like the Straw Hat crew’s hideout — it really feels like you've entered their secret base!

There are many cute details around the restaurant, making it impossible not to love!

Once you step inside, you’ll see life-size figures that look just like the characters — Daku got completely fired up seeing them!

Whether it’s the adorable baby versions of the characters, the cool battle scenes, or the cute animal companions, every design is incredibly detailed and makes fans’ hearts melt (with heart eyes)!

Of course, Daku had to take a photo with Nami, the favorite of many guys, Up ! You can take photos freely here, but remember not to touch the figures themselves~

There’s also a corner with a beautiful ocean-themed backdrop where you can take great photos with your friends!

There are also many cute character goods for sale, such as straw hat accessories, character mugs, and clear file folders — fans will definitely want to buy them all!

There are also exclusive items like the Burn Burn Fruit Cup (based on Ace’s Devil Fruit) and the crew’s greeting ema postcards — there’s so much to see, and you’ll want to take everything home (screaming)!

The interior space is very Instagrammable, featuring nautical elements like ropes, steering wheels, and lifebuoys, making you feel like you’re dining right on the Thousand Sunny — it’s super fun!

At first glance, you might think it’s just a regular ship’s wheel, but it’s actually the restaurant’s iconic sign — it looks really cool up close!

The restroom entrance is designed so discreetly that at first glance, you’d never guess there’s a toilet inside XD

The restrooms are also uniquely themed, and you’ll feel excited just walking in!　

The menu is designed to look exactly like a nautical chart, giving you the thrill of setting sail XD

The menu isn’t just for ordering — it also sparks everyone’s imagination. It’s recommended that you discuss your ideal One Piece meal with your friends, so you can create an unforgettable dining experience together!

Classic Straw Hat Curry with Blue Ribbon Pork Cutlet Rice (NT$360)Just seeing this straw hat makes everyone go crazy, not to mention the little Luffy flag on top!

Nami’s Sweet Orange Chicken Caesar Salad (NT$220)Since Nami loves money and oranges, this sweet orange salad represents her perfectly. The salad is refreshing and appetizing, with a mix of fresh greens and fruits, paired with savory-sweet Caesar dressing and chicken — it’s absolutely delightful.

% TechBroccoli Cheese Teriyaki Chicken Rice (320 TWD), not only does it feature the full shape of Broccoli, but even his spiky hair is made from seaweed strips too. Additionally, cheese slices are crafted into his skull-like appearance. Want to switch up the flavor? You can also mix the cheese slices into hot steamed rice for even more layers of taste!

% Look closely, the color scheme is intentionally kept simple with just white and black tones, which makes it look super appetizing and fun to eat!

The base layer includes not just rice but also dried bamboo shoots, shiitake mushrooms, and other side ingredients, all following a sweet-savory flavor profile that’s both appetizing and delicious. Overall, this bowl really hits the spot for our taste buds — we couldn’t help but keep eating until it was all gone!

Each one has its own unique flavor, and theAzure Ocean Bubble Drink has a more mature, adult taste due to a hint of alcohol — it’s a favorite among many male customers too. % TechEvolved Chopper Platter (420 TWD), fans of Chopper definitely shouldn’t miss this new dish. Not only is the meal more evolved, but you also get to enjoy four different flavors in one go!

% Do you remember how Chopper used “Fur Enhancement” on Fish-Man Island to defend against sea monsters, showcasing incredible defensive power and blocking their attacks? Here, deep-fried Scotch eggs are used to represent Chopper’s round, furry body, recreating that classic scene from Fish-Man Island!

% The rice here is especially made using Tainan No. 11 rice mixed with turmeric powder to create yellow turmeric rice, served with a vegetable-based curry sauce that’s rich and aromatic—super appetizing. The potatoes and carrots on the side are stewed until incredibly soft and flavorful, making the combination even better!

% The cutlet features a golden crust and juicy pork, ham, and rich cheese—it looks totally indulgent!

% Once you take a bite, the juicy meat juices blending with the tender ham and creamy cheese will win you over instantly!

% The “Thousand Sunny Pirate Ship Set Meal” is also one of the signature dishes here.　Advance to the Thousand Sunny (NT$420), Remember the classic scene where Luffy cried out? Here, they’ve recreated the Thousand Sunny, the ship that accompanied the Straw Hat Pirates on their adventures, making you feel brave enough to set sail again after your meal!

% The set meal especially uses mozzarella to create a charming effect—it looks so tempting you won’t want to eat it!

% But when you slice it open with determination, you get to see what delicious surprises are hidden inside!

% Inside, there’s actually hidden brownies and vanilla ice cream—it looks super comforting!

% Whether you go for the cutlet or the dessert, both are incredibly satisfying. Especially with that juicy meat juice, soft ham, and rich cheese melting in your mouth—it’s love at first bite. However, it’s a bit sweet, so it’s better shared among several people, and it’s also great for those with a sweet tooth!

% Strawberry Marshmallow Cotton Cloud Pancake (NT$320), Since Chopper loves marshmallows, they’ve specially used a marshmallow pancake to represent him!

% The presentation is also super cute—the pancake is topped with strawberry jam and drizzled with chocolate syrup, then topped with soft marshmallows. After toasting slightly, the marshmallows become fluffy~ Then just enjoy it with the vanilla ice cream at the bottom!

% The base of the dish is a mix of fruits, whipped cream, and jelly, layered with soft cake, making it both refreshing and rich.

% The beautifully designed cake also has a layer of sponge cake and fruit at the bottom, looking super adorable. The combination of fruits, whipped cream, and jelly creates a flavor that’s hard to resist!

% They also offer an exclusive “Straw Hat Pirates Character Brooch” that’s not for sale but given away—if you spend NT$1,000 or more that day, you can draw one with your receipt, and for NT$2,000, you can draw two, and so on. But limited quantities are cruel—you’ll have to rely on luck to get your favorite character. Fans, hurry up and try your luck (while supplies last)!

% Additionally, you can get a small souvenir when you check in—you can show your check-in photo at the restaurant counter to get a small sticker. In the photo area, you can also dress up as a pirate or a marine, which is really fun!

% The dishes here are all personally developed—they also have many nautical-themed decorations and props for fans to take photos with. It’s really worth a visit!

% At the end of the meal, there’s even an “To Be Continued” sign from the anime—it’s really thoughtful and makes us even more excited for the next adventure (throws confetti)!
