A major fire broke out at Tokyo’s “Tsukiji Outer Market” on the afternoon of the 3rd, taking eight hours to extinguish. Due to the high density of shops in the area, at least seven well-known stores were burned down, including three popular food spots. ETNEWS Travel Cloud has compiled a list of the three eateries that were destroyed — travelers planning to visit Tsukiji Market in the near future should take note.

1. Inoue Ramen
Known for its Chinese-style ramen, Inoue Ramen always had long lines whenever you visited, making it one of the must-try queue-worthy foods at Tsukiji Outer Market. However, as its location was right next to the origin of the fire, the shop was affected and burned down, so this popular eatery is temporarily unavailable.

2. Kikuya Nakamura
Kikuya Nakamura is a comprehensive food store that has been in business for over 30 years, mainly selling black beans, umeboshi (pickled plums), and tsukudani (simmered seafood and vegetables). Many travelers who love Japanese side dishes or preserved foods would come here to buy them as souvenirs. However, this shop was also severely impacted by the fire.

3. Tsukiji Donburi Market
Along with other shops in Tsukiji, Tsukiji Donburi Market was known for its fresh sashimi and seafood.<饭、寿司为主打不同，筑地どんぶり市场 主打的N<饭，是将肉质软嫩的鲔鱼脸颊肉制作成有宛如牛排般的风味，在一众海鲜料理店家中脱颖而出，成为当地人气美食店家，但可惜的是在这次火灾也受到影响。
