Just one day — Morton’s Steakhouse launches 0.9 kg Boston lobsters on 8/18

The North American lobster season runs from June to August each year. Morton’s of Chicago, the Steakhouse, located in Taipei’s Xinyi District, is hosting a one-day Boston lobster pop-up event on August 18. Featuring lobsters weighing two pounds (0.9 kg) each, priced at NT$2,388 per lobster, the offer is available while stocks last. Reservations are required and must be made before August 17.

Katherine, General Manager of Morton’s, said that Morton’s locations worldwide hold two one-day Boston Lobster Day pop-ups each summer, offering lobsters weighing two pounds — about 30% larger than the common market size. The whole lobsters are simply steamed, resulting in a vibrant color that is sure to whet the appetite upon serving. They are best enjoyed with the restaurant’s rich, homemade clarified butter to fully appreciate their sweet and succulent flavor.
