With the 2017 Taipei Universiade in full swing, the energetic The Lalu Resort is hosting the “Discover the Passion – The Lalu Universiade” series of events from now until August 31. The hotel lobby has been turned into an actual badminton court to host fun badminton competitions. Other activities include a limited-time Universiade-themed premium beer promotion, creative banana desserts, live sports broadcasts, and more. Guests can enjoy these experiences for free and even have the chance to win accommodation vouchers worth thousands of NT dollars through competitions.

1. Cloud Sky Buffet: Order the Universiade commemorative edition premium beer for dinner and you can participate in a beer discount raffle, with a chance to win beers starting from $8.
2. Yilan Kitchen at Yanbo Tei: Dine at Yilan Kitchen at Yanbo Tei for dinner and receive one raffle entry per table (limited to one per table), with a chance to win Universiade commemorative edition premium beer starting from $8.
3. Li Quan Bar: Daily limited sale of 10 sets of Universiade commemorative bottle sets, each set priced at $300 + 10% and up. Universiade banana cheese bread, three pieces per set for $140.
4. Daily live sports broadcasts
5. Lobby: Fun badminton competitions held daily from 16:00–16:30; reaching a certain points threshold gives you a chance to win great prizes such as meal vouchers and accommodation vouchers.
