Vietjet Air Launches Flights to Taiwan — 15,000 Free Tickets Available from October 10

Nicknamed the "Bikini Airline," Vietjet Air will enter Taiwan’s low-cost carrier market this December and has launched a new route between Taipei and Ho Chi Minh City on the 12th. To celebrate its Taiwan launch, Vietjet Air announced on the 4th that it will release a limited 15,000 free tickets, with sales opening to travelers at midnight on the 10th.

Vietjet Air stated that this super promotion will run from midnight on the 10th until the 12thon its official websitewith limited-time sales—only 15,000 lucky passengers will be able to fly for free between Taipei and Ho Chi Minh City. The promotional tickets can be used from March 16 to October 24, 2015 (excluding public holidays).

After the official launch, Vietjet Air will operate five weekly flights between Taipei and Ho Chi Minh City, departing on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Flights will depart from Ho Chi Minh City at 2:30 PM Vietnam time and arrive in Taipei at 6:55 PM; return flights will leave Taipei at 8:00 PM and arrive in Ho Chi Minh City at 10:25 PM local time.
