According tothe UK’s Daily Mail,Canada’s “Bear Train” (The Tundra Lodge Rolling Hotel in Manitoba) offers visitors a new way to take in the polar scenery, letting you fulfill both the desire to see the northern lights and chase polar bears in one trip.

This train takes passengers to admire large mammals that remain highly active even in the harsh winter. Bold travelers can even step out onto the outdoor walkways for a “close encounter” with the bears, experiencing the thrill of being surrounded by them. Not only that, but when night falls, there’s also a chance to witness the stunning northern lights.

The train has 32 rooms, allowing passengers to stay warm and comfortably enjoy the views from inside the carriages. It also features a lounge and restaurant, offering great comfort. The train’s mobility allows the driver to venture deep into the area in different seasons to track bears.

The 7-day journey costs 230,000 Taiwan dollars, including flights from Winnipeg to the bear-viewing destination Churchill, accommodation, meals, snow gear (parkas, snow boots), expedition fees (entrance tickets, nighttime wildlife viewing), cultural program service fees, taxes, and service charges.
