12 hidden teddy bears have appeared at the Taichung Teddy Bear Exhibition in Zhongxiao Tingzhen and Civic Square!

The ongoing "Taichung Teddy Bear Happy Lifestyle Carnival" is now complete with all its bears in place. On the 9th, 12 hidden family-themed teddy bears made their debut at Civic Square and Zhongxiao Tingzhen, giving enthusiasts hoping to collect all 100 sets—200 bears in total—a chance to fulfill their collection dreams!

This year’s Taichung Teddy Bear Exhibition features 100 newly designed parent-child teddy bears that showcase the diverse industrial and cultural characteristics of different regions across Taiwan. The newly completed National Taichung Theater has also been included as one of this year’s exhibition venues. Alongside this, three teddy bear designs inspired by the theater—Phantom of the Opera, La Traviata, and Madama Butterfly—have been created. These, paired with the theater’s eye-catching architecture, nighttime light shows, and the inaugural "Teddy Bear Hot Air Balloon Leaf Light Show," have made Taichung an exceptionally lively city as 2014 draws to a close.

The exhibition initially launched with 88 teddy bears, and now the 12 hidden editions have officially been revealed. The Taiwan Teddy Bear Association of the Republic of China explained that, unlike previous displays which focused more on showcasing a variety of industry themes, these 12 parent-child teddy bears lean more towards artistic and cultural styles. Popular animated themes such as “Frozen” have also been incorporated. Through close interaction, visitors can experience a range of art forms and different ethnic cultures.

If you’re looking to find the 12 hidden teddy bears directly, 5 themes—including punk, love and peace, and Frozen—are located at Zhongxiao Tingzhen, while the remaining 7 hidden bears are waiting to be discovered at Civic Square.

In addition, the Taiwan Teddy Bear Association plans to unveil a newly designed violin teddy bear near the end of the exhibition period, meeting fans through a special event. However, event details are still under planning and will be officially announced once confirmed.
