Tim Ho Wan’s Second Branch Opens in Xinyi District – Official Grand Opening at Shin Kong Mitsukoshi A8 on 12/17

Since the arrival of Hong Kong’s Michelin one-star restaurant “Tim Ho Wan” in Taiwan, the queues have never subsided. To allow even more people to enjoy its delicacies, following the recent announcement of its takeaway outlet, the second branch will officially open on December 17 at Shin Kong Mitsukoshi A8. To secure a spot in the highly competitive food scene of Xinyi District, Tim Ho Wan Taipei Xinyi will introduce exclusive chef’s specials.

Although Taiwan’s Tim Ho Wan takeaway outlet offers takeout options, the team carefully selected the takeaway menu with a focus on “texture” and “ease of eating.” Out of the full menu, 12 items are available for takeaway. For instance, the texture and flavor of cheung fun (rice noodle rolls) are easily affected by temperature, making them unsuitable for takeaway. As a result, only three out of Tim Ho Wan’s signature “Four Heavenly Kings” can be taken away — the crispy BBQ pork buns, pan-fried radish cakes, and smooth Malaysian sponge cake.
