1600 Panda World Tour Arrives in Malaysia – AirAsia: Warm Welcome

The “1,600 Pandas World Tour,” which has previously visited Taiwan, arrived in Malaysia from December 21 to January 25, 2015. It becomes the third Asian country after Taiwan and Hong Kong to host the 1,600 Pandas World Tour.
Launched in 2008, the “1,600 Pandas World Tour” is a collaboration between the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) and French artist Paulo Grangeon. To date, it has held over 100 exhibitions around the world. During this visit to Malaysia, the pandas will tour more than 15 key locations
AirAsia Malaysia’s Business Director, Lee Teck Long, expressed great joy in welcoming 1,600 pandas to Malaysia. AirAsia is delighted to support this initiative to raise awareness about panda conservation in the country. All funds raised through the event will be donated to the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) to support the organization’s efforts in wildlife conservation.
