“Taipei’s only private oversized garden terrace” – one night in the Crystal Suite for NT$150,000

Recently, Taipei’s hotel industry has seen a wave of “renovation trends.” Today (23rd), The Regent Taipei unveiled a number of newly renovated suites, completed over three months with an investment of NT$250 million. Among them is the Garden Suite, touted as the only suite in Taipei City with a large outdoor garden terrace. Spanning an expansive 42 ping indoors and 25 ping outdoors, it is priced at NT$150,000 per night, targeting the Christmas and New Year's Eve party markets.

Chang Yun, Deputy General Manager of Marketing and Public Relations at The Regent Taipei, stated that current market demand leans toward multifunctionality. Therefore, they have planned diverse room types suitable for business travel, parties, vacations, and weddings, aiming to capture the high-end market. The two Garden Suites, located on the fifth floor of the hotel, are priced at NT$150,000, covering a total of 67 ping both indoors and outdoors. They face LinSen North Road and Parks No. 14 and 15, with their main selling point being the 25-ping oversized terrace. Aside from offering considerable usable space, this also helps diversify the guest demographic. Chang further mentioned that renovation work on celebrity suites on other floors is ongoing, with plans for a total of three phases of renovation.

Also completed in this renovation phase are the “Cloud Terrace Corridor” and “Cloud Terrace Guest Rooms.” The former is an exclusive lounge area for guests, similar to a business center, offering meals, beverages, and meeting equipment. The latter is a newly designed room type, priced at NT$25,000 per night, or NT$12,500 for Taiwanese guests, and features a small private terrace. The Regent Taipei has also launched a New Year’s Eve package for the Garden Suite, offering stays for 4–8 people at a discounted rate starting from NT$120,000 up to NT$160,000.
