Since the opening of the Hong Kong-based affordable Michelin restaurant “Tim Ho Wan” in Taiwan, it has seen long queues every day and can be considered one of the hottest restaurants at the moment. However, a well-known food blogger named Mi’er recently criticized Taiwan’s Tim Ho Wan for being inauthentic, claiming there is a noticeable difference compared to the original branch in Mong Kok, Hong Kong, even going as far as calling it a “knockoff version,” sparking controversy.
