2015 Spring Festival Travel: New Taipei City Offers Accommodation and Dining Package Deals

The New Taipei City Government Tourism Bureau has partnered with multiple lodging businesses to provide a variety of accommodation options for visitors traveling to New Taipei during the New Year’s Day and Lunar New Year holiday period in 2015, along with over a hundred different types of accommodation and dining package deals.

In addition to maintaining 50% off regular weekday rates, packaging travel itineraries with meals and accommodations, and offering eco-friendly deals, hot spring hotels are also introducing winter-warming packages that include hot spring soaking and gourmet meals. Special warm-hearted programs offering 50% off meals are also available for seniors aged 65 and above as well as individuals with mobility difficulties.

Chain hotel operators have introduced a “Taipei-Kaohsiung Dual-City Tour” three-day-two-night travel package that spans both New Taipei and Kaohsiung, allowing the public to travel from north to south during the holiday period. In addition, there are family-friendly children and parent stay packages suitable for all ages for consumers to choose from freely.
