Spreading Warmth in Winter: Cathay Pacific Buys Cookies from Happy helpers Bakery to Visit Catholic Nursing Home

A volunteer team formed by Cathay Pacific and Dragonair visited BaLi in New Taipei City on December 28 to see the residents of Taiwan Catholic Nursing Home, spending a warm Christmas holiday with the elderly, their families, and the nursing home staff.

Cathay Pacific stated that the company has long been committed to environmental protection and public welfare, continuously collaborating with non-profit organizations to promote various charitable activities. This year, the first Cathay Pacific and Dragonair volunteer team in Taiwan was established, and their first mission was to visit the elderly friends at the nursing home with exquisite tea treats made by Happy Helpers Bakery, extending the love to the Happy Helpers Social Welfare Foundation.

Cathay Pacific also noted that since donating to Taiwan Catholic Nursing Home in 1982, it has also provided a nine-seater vehicle for the nursing home’s use, and additionally offers four round-trip tickets between Taipei and Hong Kong each year for nuns who need to commute between the two cities for work.
